Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms govern your use of Peer2Bet, operated by Calpe Nexus Limited. Please read them carefully, especially the dispute and escrow sections below.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account (including checking the agreement box at registration) or using Peer2Bet, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register or use the platform. The service is operated by Calpe Nexus Limited.
2. The Service
Peer2Bet provides escrow for peer-to-peer football bets between users. We are not a bookmaker — we do not set odds, take positions, or guarantee winnings. We hold stakes, confirm match results, and pay the winner.
3. Accounts & Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal age in your jurisdiction) and legally permitted to participate under local law. You are responsible for your login credentials and all activity on your account. One account per person. You must provide accurate registration information.
4. Bets & Escrow
Both parties must fund their stake before kickoff. Bets lock when the match kicks off. Minimum stake is $25.00 per party for your first qualifying settled bet, then $50.00 per party for later bets. Settlement uses the official full-time result (90 minutes plus stoppage time; extra time and penalties do not count unless explicitly agreed in optional bet terms). After the match, payouts are held for a 2-hour review period before automatic settlement, unless a dispute is opened or admin review is required.
5. Fees
Settlement costs apply based on total pot size (typically $0.50–$30.00). Pot-size tiers:
6. Disputes
Either participant may open a dispute on a funded, locked bet while the dispute window is open. • When you can dispute: from kickoff until 4 hours after kickoff while the match is live, or until 2 hours after the official full-time result for finished matches. For pots of $2,000.00 or more, the post-match dispute window extends to 24 hours. • How to dispute: use the "Open Dispute" button on the bet page and submit a clear written reason (minimum 10 characters). Only bet participants may file a dispute. • Effect: settlement is paused while the bet status is "Disputed". Peer2Bet admin reviews the case, match data, and escrow records. • Outcomes: admin may (a) release settlement to the winner based on the official result, or (b) refund both parties if the result cannot be confirmed or the bet must be voided. • Admin decisions on disputes are final for escrow purposes. Frivolous or abusive disputes may lead to account suspension.
7. Cancellations, Postponements & Refunds
The bet creator may cancel an open or negotiating bet before an opponent funds. Unfunded bets are automatically cancelled before kickoff if not fully funded. If a match is postponed, cancelled, or abandoned, affected bets may be cancelled and stakes refunded to both parties. Refunds return funds to each party's wallet balance. Settlement costs do not apply to refunded bets.
8. Prohibited Use
You may not use Peer2Bet for fraud, money laundering, collusion, multi-accounting, manipulating results, or any unlawful activity. We may freeze balances, void bets, or close accounts if abuse is suspected.
9. Liability & Changes
The service is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to funds held in escrow for your active bets. We may update these Terms at any time; material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
